TURKEY – September 11-12-13, 2014: “World Islamic Trade Fair, IMEX”, and “World Islamophobia Congress”

bannerIMEX 2014 (Islamic Meeting EXPO),which consists two events with the support of Turkish Prime Ministry:

  • 1) World Islamophobia Congress coordinated by international NGO’s platform;
  • 2) World Islam Trade Fair coordinated by Domino Tourism & Expo;

will be held on September 11-12-13, 2014 at CONGRESIUM Expo Center in Ankara, Turkey. 

World Islamophobia Congress is formed under the title of Islamophobia. Islamophobia will be reviewed legally politically, philosophically, psychologically and sociologically. Also, immigration, asylum, crime against humanity and the other problems that are originated from islamophobia will be discussed. 

A report will be complied of the statements and the remarks during the congress to submit to the international authorities in the politics, economy and security sectors. The meeting will guide the following platforms and processes. It is assumed that the intellectual and academic materials developed during the congress will be the key factor for hereafter studies. It is expected that the literature reviews on islamophobia will be triggered and islamophobia will be realized internationally and will be considered by international politics and media agenda. It will be the basement of building the period of combating islamophobia for national and international policy makers. 

World Islam Trade Fair is a platform where Muslim countries and the countries from all over the world will carry out the economical, political and social discussions and cooperations. It will support the Congress period in which Islamophobia will be being discussed, in a way that will break the prejudices and acceptations. 

The fairground located on 5000 square meters will be hosted for World Islam Trade Fair and almost 250 national and international companies and institutes will be exhibited. It is an opportunity for stand owners to introduce their service capacities, products, domains, qualifications to the international attendees especially to whom are the determinants or sector representatives of their countries. It is an opportunity to improve activity qualification and domain for the representatives of international private sector firms. 

The webpages in Turkish, English and Arabic are hosted for the congress and fair events of. IMEX 2014. Moreover the brochures and catalogues will be distributed during the advertisement and event period. After the congress the proceedings will be publicized according to the academic criteria. 

IMEX 2014 ANKARA is supported by T.R. Prime Ministry, Turkish Religious Foundation, TIKA- Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, Turks Abroad and Related Communities, TSE- Turkish Standards Institute, TOBB- Turkish Union Of Chambers And Exchanges, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, SESRIC and other national or international institutes to be determined. 

57 Muslim countries will be invited to IMEX2014 by SESRIC. It is expected to be attended by the representatives of public bodies and NGO’s, private sector brand and procurement committees of Malaysia, Iran, Turkmenistan, Jordon, Netherlands, Germany, USA, Austria, Spain, Albania, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bahrain, England, Iraq, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Kuwait, Macedonia, UAE, Lebanon, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Senegal, Tajikistan, Iraqi Kurdistan.
